My School Band

I belong to Tung Hua Green Environment band.


The school band is very special & unique. The instruments are all made of recycle items.

It is a very good idea. It helps to create awareness that we need to love our earth. We should not simpily use and throw things away. We must be more caring towards the earth.


Everyone has a duty. I am great I am involved in a campaign to promote loving the world.

We were also very lucky to be interviewed by the press. Sin Chew Jit Poh interviewed my friends and I in June 2008. This is a copy of the bulletin that was published in the newspaper.

I am a member of my school Band. I am very keen & excited to be a member of this band.

In this school band, I get the opportunity to perform in public. The presentation is usually for certain public occassions such as World Green Day, Anti-Dadah campaign. It is quite interesting to be involved in these social activities. It is a way to show my love for my community, my country and the earth that God has created.

As you can see from the photo, I am placed right at the back of the band- team. That is the decision of my teacher. So, I just obeyed. Even though, I am placed at the back, I am still very grateful that I am involved in the band team. I am grateful of the blessings given to be in team. I enjoyed it.
